Joined Friends of Saltwater State Park for a fun dive this morning. Our objective was to capture habitat-type photos for the Friends group to use to show visitors of the park the winter habitat and creatures below. Visibility was still a little milky but the sun was shining and the long surface swim made for a nice little morning workout. Lots of ling cod and eggs! It always startles me when I suddenly come upon eggs because I know there is a big daddy ling close by guarding them. Thank you to my Kelp Krawler dive buddy Jeff for joining in the fun. I used my 8mm fisheye lens for all of these shots and the short little video I threw together. Wide-angle is still a bit of a challenge for me....slowly making a little progress. I want to be ready to use it for my shark dive in a couple of weeks! Now off to Gig Harbor to help as a diver for Harbor WildWatch and their Pier Into the Night - Live Dive program! Cheers! Thanks Rhoda!! Feel free to use if there is anything here you'd like to use for the park - that was the purpose! Let me know if you need me to email you any of the files. Fun!
